Can anyone recommend any pads that don’t cause irritation please?

I have usually got away with just a menstrual cup or tampon but I’m late 40s and possibly nearing menopause and it just isn’t enough anymore, I also need a pad as it’s so heavy.
I have just recovered from last month with the pads giving what doctors says is contact dermatitis from pads and now I’m dreading next week as I’m due again and can’t go through that again.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something that won’t irritate?

Cloth pads are usually much better if you can manage them.

How about the cup and period pants ?

Can you try different types? I can only use unscented ones like Aldi own and I use sena pads for night times rather than period pads. They're not perfect but they cover a wider area.

Period pants? No experience of them though

Cloth pads and period pants are much better for this problem

I’ve been out and bought bodyform period pants so hopefully I get on with them. I’d never heard of them before so thank you.

There are actual cloth period pants that you launder and reuse, too. Better environmentally, and they’re not obviously period pants, you could still wear them once all that is behind you.

Always used to do an infinity pad that was great. I think they may have rebranded them but still sell them.

Yes either period pants, or I find the Flo pads good (bamboo very soft and no nasties and breathable as not plastic).
