My stomach is totally out of proportion to everything else with a combination of post c-section overhang and bloating. Can anyone with a reasonable flat tummy give me advice on how to get mine under control?

Sorry no advice but welcome to my world I'll be watching out for any replies you get with much interest.

I sported a hugh tummy a couple of weeks ago but that was down to excessive alcohol and eating too many wrong foods. Mine is starting to get less pronounced every day I refrain from the booze. 2 and a half weeks to be exact.

I have started to drink lots of water with fresh lime or lemon and knocked drinking loads of caffiene on the head as well.
I am eating more fruit rather than biscuits and cakes and walking the dog more.

Hope that helps but it is bloody hard to cut out the vices.

Next week I am going to start jogging - christ that is gonna kill but I want/need a fairly flat tummy again!

Do you exercise?
I've found the only way to reduce tum is to do sit-ups etc

Hi,

Sorry, I only just got back to this. Thanks for all the advice so far.

I do daily exercise, Rowlers, but I don't do anything much which is specifically targetted on my stomach, which I clearly should be. I used to do Pilates, so perhaps I will check that out again. After two pregnancies my muscles lose tone really quickly.

I am pretty sure that bread is the big evil bloater with me and I have already cut down on that in the last few days. I will pinch more of your ideas, Zahrah, and see how it goes.

Patsy
