Very scared of weird symptoms

I’m in a state of high anxiety about recent weird symptoms in my left foot.
About 3 weeks ago I noticed that the 2 toes next to my little toe were numb on the upper side, like properly as if anaesthetised, but normal feeling on the sides and underneath. No pain, still sensitive to temperature and nothing visible to see, no injuries. Nothing on right foot.
Now a few weeks later the sensation has shifted a bit, a bit like when your foot has gone to sleep and is coming back to normal, tingling sensation. It now extends to the top of the foot.
I am really terrified of what it might be, thinking MS or neuropathy or worse. My fairly recent Hb1AC was normal.
I have previously had a B12 deficiency diagnosed and am now taking supplements again, having lapsed for quite a while.
i already have a progressive disability (genetic condition) which makes life difficult and I’m scared of starting down a route of intrusive testing and more bad news.
I haven’t told anyone in real life. I know once I do I’ll start down that road. I’m just scared.

A common symptom of B12 deficiency is tingling hands and feet so I’d strongly suspect that, one of my DC has had it and cured by b12 supplementation. So I’d advise a doc appt to get your levels checked. I am not a doctor though, but it seems likely with your history?
