Anyone had an old BCG injection site flare up years after ?

I've been vaguely aware of my arm being irritated all day and just had a look. The area all around where I had my BCG vaccination back in something like 1997 has become all red and inflamed .

It was completely fine until today, anyone had this happen before ?

only when i put a nicotine patch on it . have you been bitten? or using any different creams etc?

I guess I've probably been scratched and may be reacting to pollen, can't see anything obvious though. Have taken anti-histamine and am hoping it will calm down, very strange !
