Irregular periods coming back normal after baby

Evening all! SORRY THIS IS A LONG ONE BUT WANTED TO GIVE THE FULL STORY.
Has anyone every experience this with periods and birth…
I was on the pill for about 4 years came off to TTC fell pregnant straight away April 2021 I had my daughter via emergency c section I went straight back on the pill at my 6 weeks app (same one where you have a week break for withdrawal bleed) decided it wasn’t for me and my mood swing were awful especially mixed with new baby tiredness. So I came off it in December 2022 after this my cycles were very irregular some days they could be as soon as 27 days others as long as 48 days.
In October 2023 we started trying for another baby, nothing was happening then I decided to try and get a gynaecologist appointment as I was also having other problems such as painful * and really bad bloating which I never had before my baby (it was painful whilst I was on the pill too) and I had blood test and scan which came back normal, then I saw a male gynae who was awful saying the only option is the pill and to use lube and forplay if it’s hurting. I reported him and managed to get another appointment with a lady in March 2024. She said I could either have endometriosis or scarring from my C-section and I got put on wait list for a laparoscopy. Fast forward to February 2025 I get a positive pregnancy test no idea what was different that month I was still having pain and irregular periods never had my laparoscopy.
Second daughter was born October 2025 and managed to have a VBAC. Since then I’ve had 3 periods first one was 10 weeks PP second one was cycle 30 and this one I’ve just started on cycle 30 again. Periods are slightly more painful now and I get quite bad cramps a week before (I’m guessing ovulation pain) and I’m still having the painful sex as well as scar pain from my episiotomy so that’s not fun 🤦🏼‍♀️

But I guess the question is any idea how my body’s regulated again??

It’s only been two 30 days cycles. It’s a bit soon to know if this is the new normal.

Agree with the above.

That said, I had incredibly irregular and often absent periods all my life until I had my first at 23.

Since then they've been absolute clockwork 💁

Agree it is probably too early to know, but I had no periods for years, IVF, adoption, very unexpected conception and then lo and behold, regular as clockwork periods!
