It appeared on Thursday and is so painful, it’s about an inch under my jaw on the left, it’s rock hard and realllly sore to touch. I’ve had horrible catarrh and a froggy throat for about 5 weeks but I’m 43 now and I’ve never had anything like this following a cold or flu. I’m conscious of it constantly, it’s kind of a dull ache but if I bend down it’s an almighty painful pressure.
something else that may be relevant is I was started on lithium around 6 weeks ago so I’m thinking maybe enlarged thyroid? I’m going to the GP Monday
