A couple of weeks ago I had an ear and throat infection, throat cleared up by taking antiboics. Then I had a bad back. I still have earache and this week the dr gave me 5 days worth of amoxicillin (antib's). Today is day 5 and I still have the earache.. Am planning to go back to the doctors today (as I go on holiday tomorrow), when I went on Monday he said it looks a bit red in there. I feel like I am turning into a hypercondriac (sp?). Any ideas how I can clear this up, are there any natural miracle remidies i could take or should I just go back to the doctors

Naughty - are you me? - except for the bad back bit?

I am in exactly the same situation and finally broke and called my GP today. He agreed to prescribe me some new antibiotics, as the amoxicillin does not seem to have done the job. I am off to Paris tomorrow and have had to change to Eurostar, as I cannot get on a plane with my ear the way it is .

I cannot find any ideas to help - so am resorting to abs. Good luck - I hope it gets better.
