Could do with a bit of reassurance/ anyone who has had similar. A couple of weeks ago I had a bit of brown discharge when I wiped after weeing. I think there has been some in the loo once or twice too. I'm on the mirena coil and haven't had a period for several years so I know it isn't period blood. It happened a few more times over Xmas and so went to the docs around New year's. They did a urine test which confirmed a red blood cell count in my wee of around 50 RBC but no infection. The report had 'Normal' at the top but the internet reckons anything around 50 should be investigated further. Doctor never followed up with me after the results came in. I've just been to the loo and had actual red blood when I wiped, only a small amount but I'm freaking out quite a lot.
The doc said to go back if it carried on happening so I'll make an appointment for Monday. I'm just worried it's something sinister as I have no UTI and no symptoms like pain that would indicate kidney stones. Has anyone had similar?
