Vaseline in hair need help to get it out

Help i put too much vaseline in my 1.5 year olds hair. It was to help with her cradle cap and I cant wash it out. Has anyone got any tried and tested solutions to help get it out?

Fairy liquid, it'll take 2 or 3 washes.
