Is this a blood blister or.....

I don't normally look at myself when getting dressed or undressed, so didn't notice it, but my adult daughter was with me in as as I was getting changed and oh my godded at this.
Only thing I can say is that I've never EVER noticed it before, and I WOULD know if I've always had it. She thinks it looks suspicious, and now I'm extremely worried😓

Looks more like a mole than a blood blister. If it's new, get it checked out.

Get it checked and don't Google that will only lead to more worry.
Try and get some sleep.

I have a few cherry angiomas that are more purple than red and look similar. A friend had something called an angiokeratoma. Both of those are harmless.

Definitely get it checked but try not to worry, most things like this turn out to be fine.

Earliest appointment I can get is Tuesday, I'm already convinced it's a malignant melanoma going by the photos I've seen on Google😭
Has literally appeared out of nowhere!! I'm now petrified😭😭😭

It doesn't look too sinister but has a few characteristics that would make me get it checked if it was on me. For what it's worth though, a friend had a mole with those same characteristics but worse (bit of red, bit of black, large and uneven in an exposed spot) and it wasn't cancer. I would have put £100 on it being cancer given how dodgy it looked but it was fine. So even a really bad looking mole can be benign.

I wouldn't be petrified at this stage. It's pretty small and many skin cancers can just be cut out without any further treatment.

Possibly a cherry angioma
