Anybody ever experienced diarrhoea for 4 days straight. I’m talking just basically having pure water come out, multiple times an hour. I don’t know at what point I am meant to go and see a doctor or something?

First night I felt nauseas and like I wanted to be sick, but now it’s mainly just the bowels and no other real major symptoms. No fever. Slight stomach cramps. Anybody else had this, what was it?

I've had it a few times but its been an obvious reason like antibiotics or following treatment for constipation. If there isn't a reason fill in an online form for gp tomorrow and they might prescribe something or at least offer advice or get you to do a sample

Personally by day 2 I would have taken diocalm tablets. You must be so dehydrated, keep drinking water to hydrate yourself.

I've had to take stop diarrhoea melts before. (sainsburys etc)

Other week when on penicillin it was loose.

Couple of years ago maybe ibs but recently no.

I took Imodium on day 2 but it came back on the morning of day 3 just as bad!

I had it recently. Rang doc on day 5 and they asked for a sample. Turned out to be campylobacter. It cleared up by itself but some people need antibiotics. I’d ring your GP.

How are you doing, OP?

I've come down with a similar thing. Started off Saturday with cramps and gas, Sunday morning the watery diarrhea started and is showing no signs of stopping.

I'm cursing whoever or whatever caused this. 🤣

@TotorosBigToei went to hospital in the end as I needed fluid as was losing so much haha! Then yesterday it all just randomly stopped and I have been fine since. Waiting on sample results but absoutely no idea what that was. I feel for you, not pleasant at all 🤣

Oh no! I'm glad you're feeling better now, but sorry you've had such a rough time of it. December really is a minefield for germs...
