Brain zaps- could it be due to my meds?

So i take 10mg of citalopram, since thursday ive noticed ive been getting the odd random brain zap. My during have been so poorly for 4 days so not sleep at all. But i stayed in bed later on a couple days and took it around 11.30am. Some days i take it at 9am if im not home for 10am. Could it be because of that? Or because im exhausted? Abit worried but i know i wont get a drs appt to discuss my concerns. Wondering if anyone has had anything similar ? Im not feeling sick and really hot red cheeks burning up but shivering .

I used to get them when I stopped taking Sertraline.

I've also had them before when I wasn't taking AD consistently

Yes, I had that when coming off it.

I know I need to take my next tablet when I get them!

Echoing what others have said- I'd get them if I forgot to take my Sertraline for a couple of days, and when I came off it completely.

For those who got them taking Sertraline. How long do they last for? Ive tapered down from 150mg and have got to 25mg every day - its been six weeks since the last taper and am still getting them
