DS (7) has been poorly with a stomach and headache, early the other morning he said, his window was moving far away and everything that moves, ie, me walking in to his room, was moving very fast, I knew exactly what he meant as I used to get this alot, even when I was'nt ill, its very frightening and I 've always wondered what it was, any ideas?

Could it be a migraine? Visual disturbances can take all sorts of forms, I believe....and stomach/headache would fit. Has he seen GP?

Poor him, it does sound scary - my first migraine (teens) was very scary.

migrain, ear infection possibly - get him to see the GP.

Hmm, maybe, but his head only hurts a little he says, and I used to get this most nights for about 8 years, and never suffered a migraine in my life

Could it be stress/anxiety do you think, as he sufferes from anxiety most days as he has ASD, am wondering if it is heightened because he is ill, it has'nt happened since, but will take him straight to gp if it happens again.

you can get visual disturbance migraines without the typical headache.

Oh, ok, will keep a close eye on it, thanks
