hes had it twice already(confirmed by gp)but both mildly and told he could have it again.a little girl at his cm has it at the moment but i thought nothing of it.today hes been sooooooooo grumpy, has a bit of a rash(but doesnt look 'typically' chicken poxy ).tomorrow were off to france with my family.my bil had lukemia as a child and from whats been said before it would be very dangerous for hm to be exposed to chicken px.help!what do i do?wait to see what happens?

The weather is so hot he could just be grumpy due to the heat and have heat rash. There is nothing you can do until tomorrow and see if he has any proper CP spots.

thankyou-you speak sense.im just panicking that once we get there what if it suddenly becomes obvious that he does have it.what would i do then?would just keeping them apart do?

yes keep them apart, also you are most contageious the couple of days before spots and the day that they start appearing in earnest. I can't imagine how your BIL has avoided catching it tbh.

There is a blood test the GP can do to check if it is the beginnings of the Pox. I know - DD has it atm GP said I should send in PG friend we had been in contact with for a blood test just in case. They can give some anti virus apparently that stops vulnerable people getting it.
