periods and the copper coil

Hi. Not really sure what is going on with me. For the last 3 months I have been late for my period. 8 days the first 2 months, and so far this month 9 days, and still no sign. i am supposed to be having a smear on Friday, so will go along and mention it then, but just wondered if this had happened to anyone else?

btw I did a pg test the last 2 months, as I was paranoid so this is obviously not the cause!

Hey Caz - I have the copper coil ( I think - is tha the one that has no hormones?) My cycle is usually 26 days, I suppose after having babies it takes a while to get back to normal - perhaps having a 35+ day cycle is now "normal" for you?

Yes gm it is the one with no hormones

Do you think so? I suppose it could be...... I had the coil fitted last August, and didn't start my periods again until after the new year

the last one I had before that was before I got pg with Charlie in 2005!

Is it normal for the length of your cycle to change?
