Hi
i am awaiting on a doctor appointment that’s coming up to go through my worries/recent test results but just wanted to hear from others who might relate?

im going through a really tough time with
My health lately and I think it’s giving me a lot of health anxiety.
I’ve been going backwards and forwards to the doctors recently (quite a few months) with severe heartburn and acid reflux. Endoscopy was clear and given meds but no relief. aswell I’ve had a horrible pain in my left chest like something is sitting on my chest or squeezing it. I’ve also been having pins and needles down my arms and nagging jaw pain (not sure if related) but i did end up in AnE a few weeks back where quick ECG to rule out heart attack which was fine. I had a recent ultrasound to rule out gallstones but in return it has come back with fatty liver (I’m not a drinker). This has really made me feel so anxious and just has sent me into an overdrive of panic. I will admit my diet has been poor aslongside bad mental health after loosing my mum during COVID but I have made some lifestyle changes. When researching fatty liver it does say links to CAD, is it worth asking to get my heart checked regarding the chest and jaw pain and the pins and needles? I just feel so miserable and it’s like my body is screaming at me but feel like I’m going round in circles trying to get to the bottom of it all? I also had a high calprotection level of 812. sorry for long message I don’t have a massive support system so feel slightly alone.

I'm so sorry that you're having such an anxious time.
I have no idea about medical issues and can't comment on those, but I didn't want to read and run. (But I have had also a fatty liver diagnosis - without drinking - and was taken aback just like you)
Well done for getting things checked out.
That's the most important thing.
Most of the time our mind goes to "worst case scenario", and reality is far less dramatic.
Wishing you all the very best!
