Thinning of Optic Nerves

Anyone on here that has thinning in both optic nerves? I was told initially that it was just one of them but after more tests today, been told it's both. They've ruled out Glaucoma thank goodness. Feel very anxious though and can't help using Dr Google. Anybody with similar experience or any Opthalmologists here to put my mind at rest. I'm female, 57 yrs old and menopausal.

My sister has optic nerve atrophy caused by intercranial hypertension.

You need to push them to diagnose and treat the cause of the thinning.

@IncompleteSenten Thank you, I'm being referred for an MRI. How old is your sister?
