Not sure whether this should be here or in weaning but here goes.

Ds has been a bit run down over the past couple of weeks, teething (15 to date) and a cold.

The problem is he has stopped eating anything apart from yoghurt, tinned fruit and those organix crisp things. He's still on 3 9oz bottles a day but I'm starting to get a bit worried as he's not getting any protein/iron/anything of any use...

At first I thought it was his teeth but he doesnt seem to prefer soft to hard food or vice versa.

When should I start getting concerned? Is there anything I can do?

has he got a temperature? Any spots anywhere? Have you looked in his mouth for ulcers?

Thought he might have chicken pox, as a friends dd came out with spots the day after they had been to soft play together but itds been over 2 weeks now. He seems bright enough in himself, apart from the constant dribbling.

check in his mouth. and on his hands feet and bottom for spots. It could be hand foot and mouth illness (you don't always get spots in all those places, sometimes just mouth ulcers or just spots on the hands). It can cause the baby to go off his food and can cause dribbling.

nope no spots.... just a rash under his neck from dribbling

If he doesn't pick up in the next few days, there's no harm in taking him to the doctors.
