Why are they so sore?! It feels like I’ve done a spin classes or almost like period cramps but it’s in my thighs Confused
like a throbbing relentless ache that is only eased by moving them about/fidgeting

any ideas? It’s driving me mad

I was half way through typing a full response but my internet connection is causing problems and the page keeps refreshing. So I’ll simplify, try a magnesium tablet 1 hour before bed. If they doesn’t work, speak to your GP.

Any particular type? I’ve just got up and walked which eased it but it’s started as soon as I got back in bed

Iron deficiency maybe?

Iron deficiency maybe?

I do usually take iron, vitamin D and a multi vitamin but I’ve slipped the past few weeks so I’ll start that again

I work underground so don’t get much sun hence the extra vitamin D! We don’t have any external windows

nice leg yoga type stretching and magnesium before bed. Try side sleeping with a pillow between knees?

LoveAbitOfAlanCarr · 16/11/2025 02:54

Most multivitamins will contain an element of magnesium, usually about 35-40 % of your daily requirement. I take a magnesium supplement with 100% of my daily requirement. having said that, you need to consider is may be a vascular issue. I hope you get it sorted. The hell of trying to sleep when something like this is preventing it. ❤️

Cut out sugar and as many UPFs as you can. This solved night cramps and restless legs for me and DH.

PInkyStarfish · 16/11/2025 06:30

This stops restless legs.
