Worried! Has my stitch become undone? (Warning: image)

I had a mole removed last Wednesday and worried the stitch has loosened. Photo attached. I have increased pain there too.

Any ideas hugely appreciated

Call 111 and ask for advice or better still go to your out of hours Drs service. Better safe than sorry. If you are getting an infection they will give you antibiotics.

I had a stitch undone and it was obvious, like gaping open 1cm. The nurse just told me to leave it. It took ages to heal though. Obv depends where it is though. Can you plaster it and not move it much?

Also do you have dissolving stitches cos maybe it's supposed to do that. how long has it been?

no. They look fine

It's fine, healing well. Looking a bit red as won't be long before the stitches come out. Another few days I'd guess.

Healing beautifully there! Those stitches look almost ready to come out. It doesn't look infected and the skin is knitting together nicely.
