Two bouts of cold/flu/covid in a month

At the end of September, everyone in my office caught some horrible flu-like bug. Symptoms were body aches, headaches, sore throat etc. The usual. I only had one half-day off because I am on probation. I felt pretty grim for about a week, though. I then felt better.

Fast forward to this week, where I've developed some other illness that feels like it could be a very bad cold, or maybe covid. I got spooked by having two rounds of illness in such a short space of time, and made a GP appointment. GP was not very interested, basically told me to go home, rest, stop exercising and come back if I don't feel better within 7 days. She did offer to do a blood test next week, which alarmed me. I have health anxiety and am worried that maybe my immune system isn't working properly (the main worry is leukaemia). I haven't lost any weight (I've gained 😐). But I have been pretty tired and these illnesses are making me feel rubbish. I am 27, have a few minor health issues, but am generally well.

It’s been very common amongst people I know to have illnesses back to back recently. It’s just the time of year.

I had Covid and then 2.5 weeks later I had a heavy cold that was worse than Covid as it affected my breathing
hopefully that’s it now
