DS 3.5 has white staining on pants-infection or just holding wee in too long?

That's it really- DS age 3.5 has started to have a white stain on his pants-looks like he's had sudocrem on. It's obviously from his willy but no other symptoms. No redness or complaining of sorenesss etc.

he is not very good at having regular wee's and has to be reminded to go. When at nursery he will often hold it in nearly all day. When he does eventually go the first bit of wee that comes out looks milky and then runs clear so he's obviously holding his wee in for too long.

I think the stain is a small leak which is causing the stain but didn't know if I should be looking for other syptoms, or should I just take him to Dr's?

Anyone had a similar situation? Thanks

I haven't experienced this with my DS (7yrs.

Urine normally stains yellow. It may be worth checking it out with your Practice Nurse/Health Visitor/GP.
