2 entirely separate cancer referrals at same time!

Have one 2 week referral ongoing - biopsy this week and now have received another for a completely unconnected body part! So waiting for an emergency appointment with ENT.

Whilst I know logically that they are likely to not be cancer - I can’t help thinking having 2 cancer pathways at the same time has got to increase the risk of one being bad outcome.

My stress/anxiety was already through the roof and now this.

Not looking for any “answers” just scared.

Oh love. I won't tell you not to worry because that's pointless! I will tell you that I've been on that pathway at least half a dozen times (and yes at one point two different areas together) and I've never had a really bad outcome. Have a hand hold Flowers

Na I don’t think so. It’s just them being cautious and quick so it’s good you're getting it all over and done with, less time to stress!

Thank you, I’ve never had a cancer referral before so one was a shock, 2 just seems unreal!

sorry to hear hear you’ve been through this so many times, but thank you for sharing the positive outcome 😊

Thank you for the hand hold it’s much appreciated x

Snap! I have had multiple for post meno bleeding and other womb issues, breast after mammo, skin and bowel referrals, no cancer diagnosis resulting.

Remember that a good 95%+ of the referrals are fine, think of it as an abundance of caution.

Good luck.
