Good probiotic yogurt and good food diary app

My triglycerides are high

My weight is dropping slowly due to better thyroxine replacement but the Lipids consultant wants me to do a food diary, then reintroduce dairy - "a really good prebiotic yogurt"

I havent eaten dairy regularly for over 40 years as I'm intolerant

I've done fodmap 3 times with no improvement (twice i ended up eating less than i did before)

Im scared of the yogurt (which is sad continued online yogurt but....)

So I'm going to try

I use MyFitnessPal - have tried many others and I find it’s got the biggest database. But if you don’t want calories too, I don’t know if you might find it annoying.

I'm dairy intolerant. Soya yoghurt for me. I take these:

Does it have to be yoghurt? Kefir has way more (billions of) probiotics. It's also sort of fizzy and refreshing.

What do you mean by "sad continued online yoghurt"?

I hope you find the right thing for you. My cholesterol is high, so am following with interest.

Are you lactose intolerent? Coconut yoghurt may be a good alternative.

If it us just for the probiotics though I would add saukercrat or kimchi.

Biomel is a non dairy probiotic drink. Very Good. Waitrose sell them. I am keen to see advice on apps as I'd like one too.

Whoops!!
I meant "scared of the yogurt (which is sad cos I loved yogurt but....)" but bad typing, autocorrect and lack of concentration got me!

Oops again as my other intolerances include coconut, soya and almond

Im also not great with any veg (paticularly raw/lightly cooked veg)

I know my diet is poor but my ibs/bowel damage limits what I can eat combined with possible arfid means I am a wuss about new foods

I will really try to attempt the yogurt she has asked me to try but I might not manage it
