im in abit of a dilema, dd is having A party and i have found out one of the children whos invited is hiv positive. i only found this out last week.
i have no problem myself but wanted some tips, if any, on anything in particular i have to be aware of.

I really would only think about the gloves for blood injuries.

Of course - just trying to think of ways for you to feel comfortable about it. TBH I think a lot of people would avoid inviting the child due to general hysteria mentioned by bethoo,so it's understandable if the mum is cagey.

Just a thought... always use gloves in the event of blood injury, for any child that isn't yours. That way, no one need feel bad/special/singled out. Have fun at the party
