How can a cold and sore throat make you feel so sick?

I want my bed.

I feel so lousy and I am fed up with it now.

And I have a headache.

NAB, i had a cold and felt lousy and its obviously a horrible bug as now its developped in to a chest infection, laryngitis and sinusitis. if i had taken it easier at the strat , maybe would've been ok, so take it easy and get as much rest as you can.
there are some nasties going around!

NAB - ditto here, you have much sympathy. I had a cold caught off my ds last week, and it has just got worse and I now have a bad ear infection and am on antibiotics for 7 days. I have been feeing really sorry for myself (nobody else will ), very dizzy and unsteady on my feet with (TMI alert) gunky stuff coming out of my ear. Also cannot hear out of it and... and... and (rant rant rant)....

As olivio say, take it easy, try and get to bed early and have a good night's sleep. Drink lots of fluids and take some painkillers, with a hot lemon tea or something similar. Hope you feel better soon.

I am trying to drink lots but just can't be bothered to do a lot. Has to be done though.
