Can’t open my eye in the morning?

[Octobers]

In last two months I noticed that on some mornings upon waking up I have a difficulty open ( lift my eyelid) my left eye. It feels like I can not control the muscle to open it.
this freaks me out really.
I googled it and I do worry, I’m almost 52 menopausal woman if it makes any difference, also the eyelid feels a bit droopy only noticed on photo, checked old photos and it looks like for more than year..it’s not that noticeable

Anyone has same?
I Will contact Dr but I wonder if anyone had similar..

I had some blood tests few months ago, I have low potassium, low folic acid and lower b12. On Prednisolone long term atm.

Are your eyelashes crusted over in the morning/ stuck together? Might be blepharitis?

No at all. It’s not like they stuck together. It’s just like my eyelid is paralysed and dead..for a minute..

I would definitely talk to the GP about this (ex-nurse).
