MRI results - how long for results?

Has anyone had a non urgent MRI recently? I have one sided weakness and paresthesia with lack of reflexes on one side and was sent for an MRI of my brain and spine. It was nearly 3 weeks ago and am waiting for the results. Assuming there's nothing serious on there as I haven't heard yet (hopefully anyway!). Does anyone know how long it usually takes? I've never had an MRI or any imaging done before so no idea if this is normal or not, and their hospital website says 1-2 weeks. Feeling slightly anxious!

Anything between 2-8 weeks seems to be normal now. I had an urgent MRI of a tumour recently and the results took 6 weeks. My mum had a non urgent one and hers took about 4 weeks

I have them annually. Wait times will depend on your hospital trust. Waiting times were really long after Covid. My most recent one I had in April and got the results in June. They should be able to tell you what the lead time is if you ask? I wouldn't go on what the website says as it is quite dynamic and I suspect they don't update it regularly.

Thank you both. 3.5 weeks feel a along time when you're waiting but I guess no news is good news!
