For the last 2 years I’ve had pain on my left side when I’m around my ovulation date, it started off every few months but is now every month and only ever on the left side.
I didn’t think much of it as just assumed ovulation but the last 2 months I’ve had the pain more frequently (ie when I’m not ovulating) and there have been occasions when the pain radiates down the front of my thigh and around my back at the top of my left side bottom, it’s sort of a shooting pain so not constantly there but stops me in my tracks when it happens.
On a pain level it’s not completely awful, like a period pain really, I’m still in work but I’m just worried as it’s getting more frequent.
Any ideas what it could be?
I will of course see my GP but getting an appointment is hard enough and then they can be quite dismissive so want to go in armed with some info
