Hi. My DD is 21 months old and when she was about 6 weeks old this pea sized lump developed on the inside of her lip. You can't really see it, only when she smiles or cries and it doesn't bother her. We have pushed for it to be removed and now I am unsure. I don't think I want her to have it done. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

no experience but I'd leave it if it makes you feel anxious

Dt1 has a cyst on the outer corner of her upper eyelid and will need to have it removed at some point in the future. We're seeing the opthamologist again when she turns 1 (July) but when I spoke to him last, he hinted that it would be sooner rather than later as it's v close to her eyeball.

I'm anxious about it tbh, don't want her to have it done if it's not going to hurt her, but I'll have to see what the Dr says. If we can leave it I think we will.
