Ive caught it early as taken her to Gp this morning and he found her eardrum was dark pink when it should be grey!

Had her up half the night , she was crying in her cot and on me in bed pulling her head at the back and saying ow ow ow, poor thing, but thank gawd for her learning that term otherwise we may have not detected it , as no temp and gp said very easy to miss this till its severe.

No illness for months for once in this house and then 5 days before a flight,(on sunday) and swimming pools, she gets this!

I sooo need to wash her hair, it was bath night tonight too, shes all icky!!!!

Can you not wipe it over with a flannel? She might find a bath soothing, but I would be very careful about getting water in her ears - and soapy water gets into ears more easily than plain (something to do with surface tension)

Or leave it - I'm sure it's not that bad!

probably best to leave it hey, shes got lots of hair , so needs a proper going over with shampoo. Pony tail tommorow!
