Finished antibiotics this morning

I've just finished this morning (8am) a week long course of antibiotics- Amoxicillin and Clarithromycin.

I've been invited out this evening for drinks. Will it be ok to drink a little alcohol this evening.

Google tells me alcohol doesn't need to be avoided with either antibiotic.

What does the instruction leaflet that comes with the tablets say?

Neither mention avoiding alcohol.

As far as I know you can drink with most antibiotics. Metronidazole is the main one you really don’t want to mix with alcohol. If the pack leaflets don’t say to avoid it you should be fine.

Thankyou, I've now got a banging headache 😂 and had to have paracetamol so I might have to be on soft drinks!
