Advice re Lamisil Once Athletes Foot

I've been struggling with Athletes Foot for over 6 weeks. Initially i gave my feet chemical burns with a vinegar soak - a whole other thread!!! Skin took 3 weeks to heal and just as i thought i was finished with this drama, sadly a week ago the Athletes foot came back with a vengeance!!

Used Daktarin spray which has not really shifted it so yesterday used Lamisil Once.

Do I now not touch my feet with anything else for 2 weeks to give this chance to work? (it says on leaflet the active ingredients work for 13 days). If it doesn't work it says don't use it again - why is that? I like the convenience of a one application thing then leaving it to do its thing as after 6 weeks of changing dressings and messing about with sprays and creams on a daily basis, im thoroughly fed up with tending to my mangey feet!! All the bending to do this is also aggravating my bad back. So if it doesn't quite shift it I'd like to give it another go as it's easy and less hassle! Also im going on holiday in 2 weeks time and if I still have it by then, I cant be doing with messing about with going back to daily application of creams! I really want this bugger gone!!

So in a nutshell, has anyone used it twice and lived to tell the tale and am i supposed to leave it completely alone for 2 weeks now to see if it works as I assume I cant use anything else til the filmy layer wears off?

Thanks

are you also treating all footwear? You will be constantly reinfecting yourself if you are putting bare feet inside slippers and shoes that you’ve already had your bare feet in.
I would stick to the instructions. I have used Daktarin spray repeatedly, but it wasn’t the ‘Once’ one. Maybe if it doesn’t work you should speak to the pharmacist, they are good with treatments for things like this -and easier to see than nurse practitioner or GP.

Yes using Scholl anti fungal spray on shoes on daily basis. Washing bedding every other day on 60. What can't be washed at 60 gets washed in Eradicil. Spraying shower daily with bleach and Dettol. Just so fed up with this never ending circus of prevention and cure that thus far isn't getting rid! Really hoping the Once stuff works

Now have a big blister on my big toe. I dudpect toe is weeping under the lamisil layer and it cant pop. Might have to help it along a little. Ill have a hot shower first snd see if that pops it. Not looking hopeful this Lamisil Once will work now. If blister pops it'll compromise the protective Lamisil layer. This happen to anyone else?
