Anyone know what this skin thing is? Pic included

I’ve had this mark on my upper ribs for at least a few years but it’s always been a lot paler and hasn’t changed in size or colour so haven’t thought anything of it. Today I’ve noticed it’s a lot more red than pink and feels a bit burny almost.

any ideas? I don’t have anything like this anywhere else on my body.

Any change you’ve noticed in a mark/blemish/mole should be seen by a doctor. Even they don’t always know what it is.
