So my sisters got onto the electrolyte sachets you add to water - she's on a hunter and something brand anyway I've tried the mixed berries and it tastes vile...is anyone else taking these and can reccomend some that actually taste nice?

Thanks!!

High 5 tablets are ok. Why is she using them though?

2brains · 21/08/2025 15:11

I use Dioralyte, the lemon are the best but are hard to come by, I have IBS and need them when I have been ill

If you don’t mind spending a fortune, the LMNT ones are really nice. But so pricey.

She's uses them for general wellness and being an exhausted new mum she said they've made a big difference to her mood and health 🙂

I bought a load of the tablets to add to water and they tasted absolutely disgusting!

Then I read that you can suck them like sweets!

As long as you have an adequate fluid intake of the liquid of your choice you can suck them instead of mixing with water and bizarrely they taste delicious!

Vidrate are ace.

You can get a starter pack for just £3.99 postage. I definitely drink more water when I use them. Can’t explain why but it’s totally easier to drink.

I have Liquid IV sachets as I have POTS so need to keep fluid and salt intake up. Passionflower flavour sounds disgusting but I actually quite like it.

Is it strong or quite a mild taste?

It’s quite sweet as it has sugar too, but I find that helps with my POTS. Flavour reminds me of those Fruit Shoots that young children use to have. It’s fairly strong but I suppose you could add extra water.

Another vote for vidrate, my favourite one is strawberry and lime but they're all quite nice actually.

Willpowders Electrotide Watermelon are the ones I use each day - has been transformative to my wellbeing and taste good / don’t taste salty

CoastalCalm · 25/08/2025 20:43

Blackcurrant diahoralite here , I mix four into a bottle of lucozade sport and sip over the course of a day - doesn’t taste too bad just salty
