Spots on sole of foot

Ds has a cluster of little spots on the bottom of his foot. He noticed it a couple of weeks ago but forgot to mention it until today. It doesn't look like verruca but maybe I'm wrong? Anyone had something similar?

Might be polyphomox eczema?

Haggisfish3 · 21/08/2025 16:27

Yes I think it looks a bit eczema like.

Agree - pompholyx. Might need a steroid cream. I get it when I wear certain shoes, like Birkenstocks

Sent pictures to the GP who just said go to the pharmacist. Pharmacist doesn't know what it is so has just said to wait and see what happens 🤔
No idea how to treat it so will just do salt foot baths for now?

My pomphyolx doesn’t look like that - raised red itchy lumps not flat grey - I’d say if the GP isn’t concerned it might just be skin that’s got a bit hot and sweaty

I get something that looks very like that. Do you know if they started with yellow or white heads, like pimples? Sometimes they are a bit itchy but not always. But I've no idea what they are either. Mine just go away after a couple of weeks. But to make them even stranger, when these pop up I also have several very sore spots on my scalp. They feel like those kind of teenage pimples that are really painful before you see anything on the skin. But they all go away after a few weeks too.

My daughter had weird random blisters / spots on the bottom of her foot and the pharmacist didn’t really know exactly what it was but told us to use Eurax cream that he said can get rid of all sorts and it magically disappeared after using it a couple of days
