Basically seen this on spirometry doc on nhs app. Wish I hadn't looked . Need to make appt with nurse to discuss. But need blood test to check for few allergies first.

I am in shock seeing 73yrs. Been very wheezy this summer and in winter after a cold but never imagined seeing this.

Before all this felt fairly fit cycle and walk a lot. Various dance or boxing on my vr headset which def push me.

What can I do to improve this? Anyone any experience of a lung nearly 20yr older than they are?

Did you ever smoke? My mum is like this and has COPD now. She was ok until her mid 60's but then it got bad. HRT can help preserve lung function if you aren't already on it and if you can try to stay in as good a physical condition as you can which it sounds like you are doing. Also check your home for radon gas.

Good luck!

Never smoked. Yes on hrt have been for 2yrs. So maybe it would have been even worse.
Radon gas- will look into that. Would that make things worse?

Yes Radon gas can be a significant risk factor for lung disease.
