Breastfeeding after a shoulder operation...

I nearly forgot how to start messages here..!

Anyway, I need a shoulder operation (I have a ruptured labrum and torn bicep, it's an old injury that recently started giving me a lot of pain) - I'm due to see the surgeons on the 19th of next month.... I'm guessing they won't really be expecting a mum with 3 under 5's who is breastfeeding, and they might take a bit of an unsympathetic view to me carrying on/stopping breastfeeding my 5.5 month old...

I was just wondering if anyone had managed to breastfeed after arm surgery?? I'm pretty sure they will tell me I'm not allowed to lean forwards for a few weeks..... I'm scared that if I try to continue and can't I will be in a right state ....

(I would wait until I had finished if I could, but really I need the op before Sep when my biggest starts school - as DH will be working from home and unable to do the school run)
