Intermittent numbness to ear and face

I know a GP visit is probably in order but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I keep getting a tingling/ numbness to the very top of my left ear. This has been happening intermittently over the last month or more (to be honest I don't know how long for) but I have noticed it happening to my left cheek and eyebrow area too over the past couple of days. There is no rash/ lumps and nothing visible on my skin to cause it. It's not inside my ear but the outside. Anyone have any thoughts on this please?

Are you perimenopausal ? Hormone imbalances can cause this kind of thing which can be very scary as they mimic TIAs.

I don't think so but possibly - I am 41 but still get regular periods and no other apparent signs of peri...

Do you grind your teeth? I had this and it was down to tooth grinding.

Hi, had to comment as I had this a few years ago and it really triggered severe anxiety in me - or worsened low level anxiety possibly and was a symptom of anxiety itself. But I had magnesium supplements and that seemed to really help and eventually it went away. Hope you feel better soon x

I have had anxiety in the past but this tended to come through as vertigo. I ddo take magnesium supplement already so will keep going with this - mostly to try and help with sleep.
