Go on, someone on MN must know - how do I tell whether I've finally Bazuka'd that verruca?

Dd1 had a verruca on each big toe, so we've been religiously applying Bazuka gel then picking it off before applying more gel each night for a few weeks. Passed the horrible little black bits stage a good couple of weeks back and now wonder whether we're just going through the motions or if the verrucas are still there? How can you tell? Am sure there must be a wise MNer out there who will know. Ta ever so!

Squeeze the poor long suffering child's toe quite firmly, pinching sideways is good. If it still hurts it's still there.

ds were there one day (at the uncertain stage you're at ) and gone the next ! One fell off the other just vanished.

Oh and if they still don't go after you've used all the Bazuka gel up, that new stuff that freezes them is excellent, if expensive. Good luck.

We tried the freezing stuff first but it didn't seem to do anything, despite following the instructions to the letter, so I'm relieved the Bazuka appears to be having more of an effect. Already felt bad enough that it took me so long to realise that the nasty little things were verrucas, I thought they were just some sort of blister to start with . I'd soooo fail Mum School
