temp but no other symptoms dd 22mo

What can it be? Full of life all day. Devouring chocc buttons at 3.00pm and bouncing on sofa squealing with joy

Crying 1 hour later, red hot. No appetite, no sore throat, no swollen glands,no tummy trouble. Nothing except very hot toddler who is not very lively at all............

temp without symptoms is usually either ear infection (otitis media) or a urine infection - needs checking out with a dr really.

alternate calpol and nurofen every 3 hours to get temperature to normal level but do get it checked out with a doctor

I've had a few random 24 hour fevers lately with my 17mo dd. No other symptoms, nurofen made her feel much better and it just went away again. I thought either she was fighting something off that never fully developed into illness, or it was a teething thing. At 22mo could your dd have some molars coming? Hope she feels better soon

She feels a lot cooler and is asleep, very clingy and ill acting though.

Thanks for all help....will take her to docs tomorrow if no improvement, although have noticed nasty little cough sneaking in in last hour or so.
