Burnt the tip of my finger

Foolish. Heated up a mug with a silver handle and didn't think when I picked it up.

Burnt the tip of my finger. It's small but blistered immediately and now it doesn't hurt at all, even if I touch the blister :)

NHS advice seems overkill of A&E for a burn on your hands etc

So, what do I do in the meantime before pharamcy opens tomorrow?

I’d say even the pharmacy is overkill unless it gets infected. Just leave it if it doesn’t hurt.

Yes. Agreed!

Have you ran it under cold water? If it hurts you could probably get some burn gel from one of the smaller shops that opens until 22:00 on a Sunday

Just run it under the cold tap for a good few minutes to get the heat out of it.

I once took a baking tray full of cooked roast potatoes out of the oven once without using oven gloves. Been in for ages, properly cooked, very hot. I didn't even get a blister and didn't realise until I actually put the tray down, duh!

I’m doing this all the time. It’s only really a problem when it gets infected.
