Loosing “mass” or fullness” but heavier on the scales?

Has anyone experienced this? I dont want to say I am going through unexplained weight loss as my weight has stayed relatively the same, if not gained somewhat, HOWEVER I seem to be noticing perceived weight loss in my legs, arms, thighs, they are bonier than ever and have lost all “plumpness” I used to be very skinny anyway but always had lovely shaped legs, peachy bun, strong arms. I am only 33 and this started after having my second child, doesnt seem to have stopped since! My feet have become extremely boney and lost all padding at the bottom they are very calloused now. Ive had an MRI, blood work etc with no answers. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you.

I’ve not experienced this but found that, when I started weight training, I became a lot leaner without losing much weight.

Could this be what is happening to you? Apart from feeling bonier, do you feel healthy? Are you eating a healthy diet - lots of plants and protein and not much bad stuff like UPF, refined carbs, sugar, alcohol?

If everything else seems fine, I’d focus on resistance based exercise and a healthy diet.

Your scales could be inaccurate. Have you measured yourself and are your clothes looser on you?

It sounds like loss of muscle mass, we all lose muscle as we age. Do you eat enough and do you strength train?
