Lump in neck?? Muscle knot? Anxiety!

Hi all

I have a swelling/lump right next to my spine on the right hand side of my neck, I’m not sure how long it’s been there but noticed it three days ago, I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been poking it a lot but I now have a stiff neck/shoulder, my husband keeps saying it’s a muscle knot but I have awful health anxiety about it!

I just wondered if anyone else has had one and what they felt like? Mine feels more like a lump I’m in different positions it’s less obvious it’s a lump if I’m straight on

Why don't you just see a doctor?

I couldn’t get an appointment today have been told to try again tomorrow I feel like the anxiety is consuming me so was just looking for somthing to calm me down a bit

At the back of your neck? There's a lymph node there. 3 days is generally not a concern. If it doesn't go down or you have other symptoms speak to a doctor.
