So nervous about varicose vein removal tomorrow

I'm having both legs done tomorrow. I've had them done twice before, once under general anaesthetic and the other with local but my legs were numbed with cream first. The last time was about 16 years ago I think. For some reason I'm getting myself a bit worked up about tomorrow and the thought of the local anaesthetics as there will be lots of them.

You’ve got through this all before (granted a while ago) but I’m sure you be able to get through it again. Try not to over think it. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and a hand hold. You’ve got this!

Just wanted to say good luck, this time tomorrow it will all be over. Please do an update when you can, I had mine done years ago on the NHS under GA but they need doing again. I’ve made enquiries at a private clinic for removal under local anaesthetic so will be very interested in your experience. I’ll be thinking of you.

Hi, just an update. The procedure went okay. I have to say the pain from the local anaesthetic which isn't just your normal small needle was worse than I imagined but once that was in you couldn't feel the laser. Bit sore and bruised today but hopefully will all be worth it

Thanks for the update, I hope you aren’t too uncomfortable? I am sure it will be worth it, I wish I’d got mine sorted before now but I keep putting it off.
