Hi, I recently had a huge swelling and serious pain in my jaw and I realised it was calcium stones causing a blockage as I could see them and managed to get them through. The GP was terrified and gave me an emergency referral to the hospital. Is this extreme? From what I have researched they’re not an unnatural phenomena and rarely a cause for concern.
the swelling has since all gone away however I do have a chickpea sized hard ball left behind at the back of my mouth floor jaw area, it sort of moves doesn’t hurt, I feel like it’s maybe a big stone that’s been building up -likely would need to be removed. However I have no symptoms of it being anything scary. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and what the outcomes were. I was chill until the GPs It’s very UNUSAL comment

That's a pretty large tonsil stone. Do you suffer from bad breath at all? I would get a referral to have all tonsil stones removed. In the meantime, you can try gargling with warm water and salt.
