Please give me your best tips for managing health anxiety! I don’t want to go on medication, I don’t think things are bad enough for that, but I do need some techniques to help cope and to maybe relieve some associated physical symptoms.
I’m fairly confident my recent symptoms are anxiety induced due to the timing of them. I noticed months (if not years) ago that I have an indent in the top of my head, I’d forgotten all about it until 3 weeks ago my colleague mentioned she was worried about a similar thing she had found and then I started to worry it was something bad. Since then I’ve had scalp pain, head ache and light-headiness on and off, and also a feeling of being off balance to the left. Obviously the physical symptoms are reinforcing the anxiety that something is wrong with me and I need to break this cycle!!!
