Post pregnancy stomach muscles question - how do I tone the bit above my belly button?

My tummy muscles appear to have separated a little during pregnancy with DS2...nothing that bad I don't think, but what has caught me out is that with the (little!) exercise I have done, my tummy below my belly button has flattened really well but the tummy bit above looks worse if anything. Do traditional sit ups actually target that bit? Does anyone know some exercises that do? Thanks.

Bump (literally, as it happens...!)

Do diagonal sit ups - with one foot resting on the other knee and lifting the opposite shoulder up. Also, lift both legs up in the air while you do sit ups, as well as traditional ones. Will flatten your tummy and strengthen your back. Words of advice while finishing off my jumbo pack of Maltesers.

Ha ha. try doing row row row the boat with your partner. hold hands and rock backwards, forwards, backwards... and also try sit up crunchie thingies.

Id like to know how to get rid of the jelly bit below my belly button. There seems to be a permanent dent since having my two and horrid really.
