Mysterious Spots Under my Skin

I've recently noticed this spots appear under my skin on both my lower legs about an inch above the ankles. They're not painful and I'm not able to really feel them because they're under the skin. Was wondering if anyone have had these before or know what they are. Thanks in advance.

They look like petechiae. Are you banging that part of your leg?

Are you on blood thinners or steroids? How old are you? Are they on your sock line?

I get similar if I am walking somewhere dusty / scratchy (like dry grass etc ) in the heat, just where my trousers brush my legs. Looks dreadful but no soreness or itching. It fades after a few days to a week.

I'm comfortably (😁) post-menopausal and fair-skinned if that's relevant
