Moles / mark on sole of foot

Not sure how long he had this mark on the sole of my foot / if it has got bigger. Always assumed it was a freckle. Had my diabetes review yesterday and the nurse said I should speak to the GP just in case as it’s quite big and has a slightly darker circumference. I’ve got an appointment with the GP on Monday after a phone consultation today. Just curious if anyone has had anything similar thanks x

I had a black mark on my foot for years. A little smaller and darker. They did a test and found there was nothing wrong with it but they removed it in case it develops later. The foot gets used a lot so there is a greater chance of it being irritated. Removal was a little tricky because it was sore to walk on for about a week. And uncomfortable until they removed the stitches

just get it checked. To be on the safe side but probably nothing wrong. But they might want to remove it just because of the location

Thanks for the reassurance. It’s tricky because I can’t remember when it appeared and I don’t know if it’s got bigger. I forget it’s there until I start wearing things like sandals in the summer.

Thanks so much for the real @OneRealRosePlayer - they’ve done an urgent referral to dermatology so hopefully that comes through soon and it turns out to be nothing serious! I have 4 and 5 year old boys so hoping for a quick recovery too if it needs removed x
